#EasyPeasyNailArt: Lazy Girls Love Nail Art Too!

A while ago, Dashmeet of @instanailartts came up with the idea of creating nail art designs for the lazy girl. I loved the idea, not just because I can be super lazy at times, but because every time someone takes a look at my nails, the first thing they say is that I have too much time on my hands.

Not true. But the point is, sometimes, you just need simple designs that will look great!

As part of the collaboration, 32 nail artists submitted designs that are easy to do, and require no tools or really easily available ones.

And here is the design I submitted:

A simple two-colour sponge manicure.

This design involves simple sponging action. That’s it.

Base: Downtown Red, Sponging action: Bold Gold, and little bits of sponge.
Step 1: Paint your nails a base colour and let dry.

Step 2: Pull out a little bit of sponge, dip in second colour and dab randomly on your base colour. Make sure to not overdo it, or your base colour will get hidden.

Step 3: Top coat. And done.

You’ll notice I only did three nails in the spirit of laziness. I used a glitter polish on two of my nails to further glam up my mani. Cool, huh?

For this manicure I’ve used:

Base: Maybelline Color Show “Downtown Red”

Sponged on: Maybelline Color Show “Bold Gold”

Accent nails: Maybelline Glitter Mania “All that glitters”
