Every time I have to attend a wedding (and that’s been happening a lot, lately), I try to think of a new look for my nails. Especially if I’m going to be a part of the wedding and won’t have the time to change between functions.
I usually go for a variant of the French Manicure. (Check out my last post on the different takes I’ve done on the French Mani.) This time was no different. I meant to do the lace French Manicure, but what happened was something that I hadn’t planned.
I had done my base and then I stamped my lace pattern, and then I looked at my nails. And I was done. I didn’t think I needed to do anything more to this to make it dressy enough for a wedding. I just added a matte top coat, and it’s been two days, and I still can’t stop staring at it. I have another three days at least of wearing these, and I know I will love them even then. 🙂
This isn’t something that happens very often, but it is a great example of the phrase less is more.
For this mani I’ve used:
- Health&Glow Base Coat
- Nail Matinee white stamping polish and squishy stamper
- Born Pretty stamping plate BP 02
- Revlon Matte Top Coat
What do you think of this mani? Is less really more? Let me know in the comments.
