When I saw Amber from NailsLikeLace was looking for Guest Blogger, I was really excited to be given an opportunity. Then I scrolled through her blog and saw she also loves colour almost as much as I do! One of my favourite manis by her is The Digit-al Dozen dozen Neon: Day 4 – Dark Daisy Color Block. So simple, so beautiful! Which is why, for this guest post, I decided to recreate a design I saw by the amazing Miriam from @xnailsbymiri: Golden Ruffian on Bright Colors.
To start things off, I chose 5 different colours: Maybelline New York‘s Blue Berry Ice, Tangerine Treat, Blackcurrant Pop, Coral Craze and Bold Gold from their Color Show range and Turquoise Lagoon from the Maybelline New York Express Finish 40-second dry range. Once I applied them on my fingers, I couldn’t stop staring at my hands. So much colour. So pretty! See?
Next, I used French tip nail vinyls I bought on eBay and placed them at the base of my nails instead of the tips, and painted in the gold ruffian, and voila! One quick top coat later, my mani was complete!
Here’s a picture of what they look like in the sun:
I really loved doing this mani, and guest blogging for NailsLikeLace. Thank you so much for this opportunity, Amber. 🙂
